Reckless Love – Live Worship

Thank you to Pastor Matt Winters (The Comeback Pastor) who very kindly requested me to sing this powerful worship song, ‘Reckless Love’, written by Cory Asbury.

Here are the lyrics:

Before I spoke a word, You were singing over me. You have been so, so good to me. Before I took a breath, You breathed Your life in me. You have been so, so kind to me.

Oh, the overwhelming, never-ending, reckless love of God. Oh, it chases me down, fights ’til I’m found, leaves the ninety-nine. I couldn’t earn it, and I don’t deserve it, still, You give Yourself away. Oh, the overwhelming, never-ending, reckless love of God.

When I was Your foe, still Your love fought for me. You have been so, so good to me. When I felt no worth, You paid it all for me. You have been so, so kind to me.

There’s no shadow You won’t light up, Mountain You won’t climb up, Coming after me. There’s no wall You won’t kick down, Lie You won’t tear down, Coming after me.

I pray this song speaks to your heart and blesses you!

Every blessing,

  1. This was the perfect way to start my blog reading this morning. God has been so good and kind to me, even when I stumbled through the darkness asking, “Why is this happening to me?” God had a plan. God turned the awfulness of my human mess into something more wonderful than I could have imagined. Beautiful song!

I love to hear testimonies of how God completely changes peoples lives around. We serve a God of the impossible and His love for us is limitless. I am constantly amazed by His goodness and mercy that is poured out on us. ❤️

  2. Hi Hayley, I feel as if I am a little late to this party, but nonetheless, great cover of one of my new favorite songs. God taught me a long time ago he doesn’t hear the voice, but the heart. In your case, both are beautiful! May God continue to bless you.

  4. I don’t know how I missed this one but I’m glad I found it today. What would we do without the love of the Father and the many like your self He brings our way to share joys and sorrows. Praying your new venture is blessing you and those you minister to.

  6. Hi Haley,
I deleted my post about pentecostalism that you commented on recently. I don’t want to harm any real Christians in casting a wide net, and I figured that the brethren would be better served if I just let that post vanish.

Lord bless you sister, and keep going in your ministry. 😇
