New ventures call for new measures – Update on Red Letters Blog

Since January 1st, I have been uploading a blog post every single week day, without fail. This was something that the Lord laid on my heart to do and I believe it has been a beneficial tool in learning faithfulness and obedience. God has given me grace in providing the time for me to study His word and share what I have learned and it’s been such an amazing journey of discovery.

I had intended to continue with my usual routine, however the Lord had other plans for me. I’ve been asked by my Pastor to step into a role of leadership, involving worship, that requires my time and input. I sense in my sprit that now is the time to cease from my daily blogging and step into this new calling that God has for me.

I have loved reading your comments and interacting with you all, it’s been a wonderful support to me and I’m now looking forward to having more time to read your posts.

I’ll be re-writing and improving some of my older posts and will still be writing some new posts too, it just won’t be every day. I’ll still be sharing live worship but it might not be every week or specifically on a Wednesday. I’m literally just going to go with the flow of the Holy Spirit.

Love you all and thank you for your ongoing support. It’s been invaluable to me.

Every blessing,

  3. I will definitely miss reading your encouraging posts Hayley, but sometimes the Holy Spirit leads us in a different direction than we would like.

I pray that you continue to study God’s Word while you step into this new role of leadership at your church and pray that He uses the you to impact lives.

  4. I “liked” this post but can’t say I like it but I have to like it because it is God’s leading for you. For that I am happy but you know you will be missed. Now He is making you a blessing to others as well. May He bless you abundantly in this new venture.

    1. Thank you Donna. You wouldn’t believe how the Lord has filled my time since I’ve stopped writing posts this week! We have a Good Friday service tonight so I’ve been preparing the worship for that. I’ll try and video it if I can.

      Hayley 😊💕

I’m sure that our paths have crossed for a reason and I will continue to uphold you in prayer for your new venture too. Can’t wait to read your book, let me know when you’ve finished it. If you’re on Facebook, feel free to add me as a friend under JH Boden from Rugeley.
