Billy Graham passed away yesterday (21st February) at the grand age of 99. This is my tribute.
Thank you for defending the rights of the outcast and the downtrodden and for standing up for freedom and equality.
“Christianity is not a white man’s religion and don’t let anyone tell you it’s white or black, Christ belongs to all people.”
Thank you for your willingness to befriend ‘the enemy’ and for taking the gospel and light of Jesus to the darkest parts of the earth.
“I want to go as their friend. I want to see some of the positive things there, come out and report on them, because there has been so much negativism about North Korea.”
Thank you for being a role model and example for Christian men and husbands.
“We pledged among ourselves to avoid any situation that would have even the appearance of compromise or suspicion. From that day on, I did not travel, meet or eat alone with a woman other than my wife.”
Thank you for remaining humble and for openly confessing weakness in human knowledge and understanding.
“I have been asked hundreds of times why God allows tragedy and suffering. I have to confess that I do not know the answer.”
Thank you for openly demonstrating repentance and returning to ‘the call’ of God on your life.
“If I had to do it over again, I would also avoid any semblance of involvement in partisan politics. An evangelist is called to do one thing, and one thing only: to proclaim the Gospel.”
Thank you for reminding us that heaven is our real home.
“I know that soon my life will be over. I thank God for it, and for all He has given me in this life. But I look forward to Heaven.”
What a legacy this man has left behind and what an imprint he has made on the hearts of so many people.
Bye for now, Billy.

I am pleased to say we got our tax money yesterday so we will be able to get groceries and not worry about stretching our money. We still need to budget but next week we will have the housing allowance as well so I won’t have to worry. I’m very thankful for that 🙂 thank you so much for your prayers. God continues to help me a lot with my fear and worries.

Yes! The main focus is for my husband to find a place he can co-op and hopefully find a company he later can fully work for once he graduates. That’s the big uncertainty right now, but I know God is using the scare of budgeting and not knowing where my husband will work to push us. I know for me especially God is really teaching me about faith and rebuking any darkness that threatens my hope and faith in Christ. ❤

I will be praying for that specifically then.
God has a huge plan for your life, T.R. and these times of testing shape us, mould us and cause us to have greater faith. God wants to rid us of anything that could potentially hinder our growth and wants us to experience His hand on our lives. I know you know this already but want to encourage you that God’s got this!
Much love,
Hayley 😊💕

Oh, how is your niece doing? Are there any updates or anything else I should be praying for her and you?

We’ve not heard anything from her except for her sending a birthday present for my great niece. Her sister tried to ring her to thank her for sending the gift but she didn’t answer. Her mom (my sister) has been absolutely heartbroken and was sobbing on the phone to me the other night. Still got to keep trusting God for a breakthrough soon. Thank you for asking 🙏❤️

That was really nice of her to send the gift. I think, as small as it is, may be a sign of hope. I will continue to lift her up ❤ Lifting you all up!!

This is a beautiful tribute.
I came to know of Billy Graham through my mom and he’s made such a positive difference in the world and has also been an exemplary role model to a lot of the preachers of today

before I met my wife of many years, it was many years ago that she came to know the hope of faith in Jesus the Christ by watching Billy Graham on TV one day when she was feeling like there was no hope…there are so many people who perhaps knew Billy Graham in spirit and so it never mattered so much that they never met him in person…he became over the years a LION of a man, fearless in his desire to reach people struggling in the world.

Thank you, Terri. I didn’t want to just jump on the bandwagon but genuinely was moved to write and say thank you. I was watching his last video on YouTube about the cross and was moved to tears by the power and love coming through his words. Amazing! ❤️🙏

It’s sad to see a man of God so revered by people be called home to the Father. However, his legacy will have a bigger impact on the lives of people around the world.

When Billy Graham was on TV, my parents always watched him so I did too, even tho I was young. I always loved his sermons and he preached the love of God for all of us. I felt peace and happiness listening to him. I’m thankful the Lord used him so well to spread the good news.

How lovely. 💕 I listened to quite a few of his sermons on YouTube yesterday and I love how God’s love for us was always at the centre of the message. He had a real gift in getting the word of God across in such a down to earth way too.

Hayley, Mr. Graham is one of my true heroes in the faith. I had the privilege to attend Amsterdam 2000 for evangelism training. I have been to his library in Charlotte and so glad his ministry is continuing through his son Franklin. David

Salvation depends on the relationship exclusively with the LORD Jesus. In Spirit and Truth.
There are no intermediaries; no one else can stand before the LORD in our place.
This is a personal, private, individual relationship of each of us with the LORD.
The Bible is His Word; with prayer, and every one has his own knees, and the feelings of the heart and each one has his own heart; are the means of being in communion with the Holy Spirit and with the body of His Church.
Good morning, Hayley!
These words are to share with you my faith and my understanding.
