Looking back with thanks, looking forward with hope

Well, Praise God, we made it through January and a new month is here…..Welcome to February!

“Look back and thank God. Look forward and trust God.”

Looking back over January 2018

January has been an awesome month for me and I am so thankful to God for so many things. I thank God for opening doors for me that I never thought would open. My vision for a worship night at my church came to pass after a very long wait of praying, trusting in God and waiting. My hearts desire to see a move of the Holy Spirit in the hearts of those that came along also came to pass and I witnessed the power and presence of God fall on His people. Thank you Jesus.

My lovely friend, Rachael (Faithful Mommy) and I also set up ‘Renew’, a women’s Bible study group at our church. Rachael has such a heart for the word of God and encouraging women and we had the vision to set this up over a year ago and have been meeting up every week, on a Wednesday to pray, plan and seek God together. We held the first ‘Renew’ at Create Church on Wednesday, 17th January. Praise God!

Looking forward to February 2018

My youngest daughter turns 11 this month and is having a joint, ice-skating party with two of her best friends. She wants to invite the whole class as it’s her last year at Primary School and will be leaving to go to High School in September. Birthdays give us the opportunity to spend quality time together as a family and we are blessed that Caitlin’s birthday falls in the half term holidays. February brings a much needed break and for that I am thankful.

Looking back over your January, what are you thankful to God for? What are you looking forward to and trusting God for this February? I’d love to hear!

  3. So excited for this next season in our wonderful journey with God. He has been so good in our waiting, it just goes to show that waiting on Him, pushing in to His promises, diligently planning in His will and praying in to those plans is THE most important thing we will ever do. I can NOT believe that we have been entrusted with His word to His people, it’s most definitely something I will never ever take for granted. 💖😊
