I can’t believe it’s already Friday! Where has this week gone?! All the more reason to make each and every day count. When you surrender your days to the Lord, it’s amazing to see the fruits and accomplishments made. I’m so glad I have Jesus in my life, my days are so much more fulfilled now that I’m following where He leads me.
Here’s a lowdown of the week:
Unspeakable joy was the topic of this weeks Monday Must-have. We discussed how God’s kind of joy is different to the world’s joy and isn’t dependent on our circumstances. I loved the comment my friend, Gail from GailLovesGod made, “The flesh can be an ugly foe, but praise God the Holy Spirit is a glorious friend.”
Psalm 5:11 But let all who take refuge in you be glad; let them ever sing for joy. Spread your protection over them, that those who love your name may rejoice in you.
I was so shocked to hear about Hawaii’s ballistic missile threat on Saturday but thank goodness it was a false alarm. The whole episode got me thinking about how we can sometimes take life for granted. I encouraged readers to reach out to their loved ones and not to wait before it’s too late.
Thank you to Scribe for love for making a poignant comment on this post “Believing…this Hawaii event was God filtered, not God made…for the world to be in ready mode…thanks be to God!”
I was asked by my WordPress friend, Carlos from 100% Jesus to record a beautiful worship song called ‘Breathe’. Thank you Carlos for asking me to sing this anointed song. I haven’t sung it for a while and you reminded me how much I loved it.
Next Wednesday I will be sharing a powerful worship song, ‘Simple Gospel’ requested by ThoughtSpark. I’m really excited for this one as my husband, Jon will be playing the guitar! Again, this will be a live recording.
If anyone has a request for a song, (Worship or Christian) please let me know.
My Thursday Thought was all about ‘the journey’. I shared a little bit about my natural character and how I like to get things done quickly. I also shared how God has worked in this area of my life and is developing patience in me.
A wonderful comment on this post from Meeting Jesus summed ‘the journey’ up as this,
The journey with God is an exciting journey, especially when you come to the place you begin to see how He has lead you all your life, even when you weren’t too sure. It’s reassuring at this stage to have that behind me so that I look forward with confidence(and a little more patience now) at where He is taking me and how He uses it to complete His work in me while encouraging others on their journey to “becoming”.
So, that rounds up the week. Have a wonderful, blessed weekend and I’ll see you all on Monday!

Dearest Hayley, I have nominated you for the Brotherhood of the World Bloggers’ Award! You have such a passion and desire to share God’s love with the world through your music, your blog, and in comments that I find on my posts that touch me and encourage me so… or like the one I found in this post in coming to notify you. 🙂 Isn’t it fun interacting and communicating with God’s children all over the world? ❤ Me and God love you and Jon! Can't wait to hear him on the guitar! 🙂

Hooray!! Thank you very much, Gail! I will certainly respond and I graciously accept the award.
We’re excited to be able to play some worship together. He’s usually so busy with work so we’re going to put some time aside especially.
