What a week it’s been! The first week of the New Year and I am so thankful for having Jesus in my life. It just gets better and better!
I’ve had the opportunity to record more songs and share with friends and family and I was even brave enough to do a little video of me speaking. I did it so that I can try and get used to the camera and increase my confidence as my heart is to do a live stream and video live worship.
The feedback has been amazing! I’ve received so much support, love and encouragement and I’m so thankful to God for those He is sending to speak so positively into my life. Thank you all!
As I reflect and look back on the week gone by, my thoughts are on matters of the heart that are very personal to me. I’m sharing this with you all because I believe in the power of prayer and I want to ask you to stand in prayer with me.
During the Christmas holidays I ended up on the receiving end of a close family member’s anger. Most of the anger was directed at me, which came as a huge shock and left me feeling bemused and hurt. I responded in love and sought the Lord for His peace and wisdom but have yet to see this family member since.
There’s nothing more heartbreaking than to see family members, who were once close, become divided and separated. How Satan loves to see families torn apart and fighting with each other. Well, I refuse to let Satan rob me of this beautiful family member. He is nothing but a liar and a deceiver, sent to destroy and I will not allow him to tare my family apart.
I know that this is a spiritual attack and recognise why I have been in the firing line. The enemy hates who I am in Christ and he will use any tactic in the book to try and bring me down and prevent me from stepping into my calling.
I have nothing but love in my heart for this family member and all I want to see is reconciliation. I am trusting in God and believe that God can heal this rift and this person will see the truth of how the enemy has whispered lies and caused confusion.
Please stand in prayer with me for reconciliation and also for peace and protection over myself and my family as we step into a new season of ministry.
I am so thankful for all of you, my brothers and sisters in Christ and please let me know if there is anything I can stand in prayer with you for.
